As a center for HIV infection and chronic liver diseases we offer the ad-vantages of a medical practice together with the facilities of a research center. We guarantee personal continuity in patients care. On the other hand, we provide access to new therapeutic options and novel drugs as we take part in trials assessing new treatment options for both HIV and chronic liver diseases.

On our home page you will find keywords related to HIV and liver diseases for further information.

fibroscan_geraet_titelThe Fibroscan is a new tool for the assessment of chronic liver diseases and may replace liver biopsy at least partially. With the Fibroscan we can assess pathological changes in the liver tissue in patients with chronic liver diseases. The examination is similar to an ultrasound examination, is painless and without risk for the patient. >>> More

In addition to our outpatient clinic we are also involved in clinical research projects. These clinical studies investigate promising new drugs. For these drugs data on efficacy and safety already exist. This offers patients increased access to the latest treatment options. Such studies are conducted according to strict European guidelines. All clinical studies are controlled by ethics committees in order to protect the patients’ rights. (Of course, all clinical trials are conducted in compliance with data privacy laws). >>> More
